TruCustom offers three levels of service depending on your vision. Choose from configuring or customizing an existing style from Frederick Goldman, Inc. – or work with the TruCustom Concierge Team to design a completely new ring.

Create the Ring of their Dreams


  1. Submit your Request
    Determine the type of ring customization needed:
    LEVEL 1 & 2: Configuration or customization (must be an existing Frederick Goldman, Inc. style.)
    LEVEL 3: Design a completely custom ring

    Once you’ve determined the customization type, pick the appropriate service level listed below. Provide details, information, and any support images about the request. (The more information, the better.)

  2. 3D CAD Product Images**
    Within 48 hours of submitting your request, you'll receive 3D CAD product images, a Design Specification Sheet (for you and your customer), and a price estimate. With your customer, review the 3D CAD product images and Design Specification Sheet. Then provide feedback. Up to 2 rounds of revisions to the initial CAD product images are included.

    **3D CAD Product Images include in TruCustom service Level 2 and 3 only.

  3. Approval
    Upon approval**, our team will begin work on crafting your customer's dream ring.

    **Required for TruCustom service Levels 2 and 3 only.

  4. Production
    Within 2 weeks, your customer's final TruCustom ring will be shipped**.

    **Additional time may be needed for sourcing requests and intricate designs. Notification will be provided upon review.

CHANGES

Only the center stone carat size and/or shape on an existing Frederick Goldman, Inc. style.

APPLIES TO ENGAGEMENT RINGS ONLY:

All non-halo styles & halo styles in Round, Princess, Cushion, Oval, or Emerald.

Any halo shapes not listed above should be submitted as LEVEL 2: Customization.

Any significant modifications to the overall design of an existing Frederick Goldman, Inc. style. Customization options such as changes in melee size/quantity, re-designing part of the ring, or mixing design elements from two or more rings are all possible.

HOW IT WORKS


Start the Request
The first step in the process is providing direction on the ring you want to create. This can be done in either of the following ways: 1) Select a ring from our portfolio of styles and provide us with the specific customizations needed. OR 2) Design a complete custom ring by providing direction through a drawing, sketch or inspirational photo. The more information you contribute, the better!  Simply scroll down for links to both options. 
3D CAD Rendering
Once your TruCustom™ form is submitted, our CAD Design team will create a CAD file and three photorealistic renderings of your custom creation. Additionally, you will receive a design breakdown including gemstone information and metal weights along with a price quotation all within 48 hours of submission.
Approval
We offer two rounds of revisions to the initial CAD design courtesy of the TruCustom™ service.
Production
Upon final approval, we will begin crafting the custom creation! Within 2 weeks, your TruCustom™  will be shipped and ready to make your client’s dreams come true.
